Hank Schyma chased a Kansas storm on the 25th of May 2016. Hank was in the path of the storm, but decided to retreat to an unpaved road. In the event of rain dirt roads could become an unforgiving trap. Actually, some of his colleagues would later get stuck on a dirt road. However, they didn’t suffer any harm. While Hank moved his position the aircraft, an EF4 tornado touched down at approximately 7pm. The tornado was roaring with strong winds that roared even from far distant. Hank chased this tornado for quite a long time before he found a good vantage point on top of the hill. He decides to go close. The stream of dirt and debris can be clearly seen from several miles from. Hank had to search for security as the tornado could alter direction without warning. Hank stayed despite the danger and got some stunning footage.
